Accenture revenue rose 1% and net climbed 11.3% to $810.3 million but lowered outlook. Hochtief increased its stake in Australia based Leighton Holdings. SGL Carbon expects group EBITDA in the second quarter to be slightly below.

U.S. indexes rallied for the third day in a row and leading indexes gained as much as 1%. Weekly jobless claims declined and personal spending rose, lifting market sentiment. Average mortgage rate rose to a 2-year high to 4.46%.
