Cyient net surged 32%. GSFC profit climbed 23% on 5% increase of revenue. GRUH Finance net and revenues soared. Infosys net jumped 45%. MindTree net increased 6%. TCS profit and revenue climbed 13%.

Topix Enters Correction with Loss of 11%

Japanese stocks plunged and the Topix index entered into a correction. Topix dropped 2.3% and extended loss to 11% from the September 25. The yen gained 0.2%. Japan Display plunged 18% after the company estimated annual loss.

Australian market indexes managed to shake-off morning losses in active trading following wild swings in the U.S. and European markets. Crude oil continued to slide in international markets and Aussie dollar closed below 88 U.S. cents. Banks led the gainers.

Australian market indexes rebounded and the Aussie dollar hovered near 88 U.S. cents after iron ore prices gained 4%. Oz Minerals soared more than 7% after miner revised higher gold and copper production estimate. Pacific Brands estimated weak outlook for fiscal first-half 2015.
