U.S. stocks rebounded after Fed official suggested future rate increase are likely to be gradual. Crude oil jumped 5% after Saudi Arabia increased oil price for Asian customers. Russian ruble rebounded and Real in Brail rallied for the fifth day. European markets were closed today.

Bristol-Myers to Invest in uniQure, Ventas Acquires Ardent Medical

Bristol-Myers plans to invest in The Netherlands-based biotech uniQure. Shanda Games agreed to go private for $1.9 billion. Ventas agreed to acquire privately-owned hospital operator Ardent Medical Services for $1.75 billion and spin off most of its skilled nursing facilities.

BHEL said orders on the book soared 10% to ₹30,814 crore from a year ago quarter and estimated 62% decline in profit. KEC International won new orders for about ₹1,565 crore. L&T secured orders worth ₹5,492 crore in March. NTPC plans to invest ₹5,000 crore in power plants.

U.S. Employment Growth Plunges, March Job Increase Drops to 126,000

Net new job creation in March fell sharply to 126,000, ending the year-long stretch of job addition of more than 200,000. The March month job addition was the smallest in fifteen months and the jobless rate in the month held at 5.5%. January and February job increased were revised lower.
