[R]9:45 AM New York – Procter & Gamble agreed to acquire Ambi Pur and toilet care products from Sara Lee Corp for €320 million. The business generates operating earnings of €24 million. Sara Lee has been refocusing its product portfolio.[/R]
The Procter & Gamble agrees to acquire Ambi Pur for €320 million or $470 million from Sara Lee Corporation. The air care brand is sold in eighty countries and the household care products will also acquire several other toilet care products sold in Western Europe and Asia.
Ambi Pur generated €260 million in sales and generated €24 million in operating income and P&G said that the “transaction should not have a material impact” on the fiscal 2010 results.
