Stock exchanges in Asia closed higher as global optimism prevailed on Monday. Europe
Asian Markets Review
The Nikkei 225 Index in Tokyo closed higher 134.87, or 1.78%, to 7,704.15, Hang Seng index in Hong Kong increased 450.91, or 3.60%, to close at 12,976.71; CSI 300 index in China rose 36.19, or 1.64%, to close at 2,241.61. ASX 200 index in Australia increased 3.20 or 0.10% and closed at 3,348.40. The KL Composite index in Malaysia ended 2.57 lower, or 0.30%, at 840.88.
The Kospi Index in South Korea decreased 0.57, or 0.05%, to close at 1,125.46. SET index in Thailand closed lower 0.18, or 0.04%, to 424.61 and JSE Index in Indonesia decreased 2.59, or 0.20%, to close at 1,324.85. The Sensex index in India increased 186.93, or 2.13%, closing at 8,943.54.
Europe Markets Review
In London FTSE 100 Index traded higher 74.11, or 1.97%, to 3,827.79, in Paris CAC 40 Index increased 62.19, or 2.30%, to 2,767.82, and in Frankfurt DAX index traded higher 80.51, or 2.04%, to 4,034.11. In Zurich trading SMI increased 63.19 or 1.34% to 4,789.93.
