In London trading, FTSE 100 index soared 125.83 or 1.7% to 7,682.27 and in Frankfurt the DAX index gained 26.13 or 0.2% to 12,538.44.
In Paris, CAC 40 index jumped 65.43 or 1.2% to 5,381.44.
Airbus SE gained 1.7% to €100.26 after France-based civil and military aeronautical products maker warned that it may refrain from relying on the U.K. supplies if the nation fails to strike an agreement with the European Union.
The aviation group employs 11,600 people at three different facilities in Wales assembling aircraft wing and other parts.
Unipol Gruppo SpA soared 6.9% to €4.76 after Italy-based banking services provider said it plans to acquire an additional 5.2% stake in the domestic rival BPER Banca S.p.A for €4.72 per share or €118 million and increase its total stake in the regional bank to 15%.
""In the next six months, Unipol will consider possible new capital increase of BPER in one or more tranches,"" the lender said in a statement.
""On the basis of the applicable rules and the authorizations received, the direct and indirect participation of Unipol in Bper cannot exceed 19.9%,"" the bank added.
BPER Banca S.p.A soared 6.9% to €4.76.
