Earnings Review

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc ((WMS)) surged 10% or $2.55 to $27.95 after the water management products maker said net sales in the fourth-quarter ending in March advanced 2.4% from a year ago to $250.1 million.

Net income in the quarter soared 73.1% to $4.9 million or 38 cents per diluted share from $16.3 million or 34 cents in the same quarter last year.

The water management products maker said soared in profit was driven by favorable pricing and strong allied product sales in the construction markets and international net sales jumped 15.1% to $23.9 million.

In fiscal 2019, net sales in the range of $1.38 billion to $1.43 billion and operating profit in the range of $220 million to $240 million.

American Woodmark Corporation ((AMWD)) soared 13.1% or $11.63 to $100.18 after the kitchen cabinets and vanities maker stated net sales in the fourth-quarter ending in April surged 57% from a year ago to $405.9 million.

Net income in the quarter jumped 10.4% to $19.1 million or $1.08 per diluted share from $17.3 million or $1.06 in the same quarter last year.

Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation ((BAH)) jumped 4.1% or $1.71 to $43.50 after the management and technology consulting services provider reported net sales in the fourth-quarter ending in March increased 3.8% from a year ago to $1.6 billion.

Net income in the quarter surged 28.1% to $84.9 million or 58 cents per diluted share from $66.3 million or 44 cents in the same quarter last year.

Booz Allen forecasted fiscal 2019 revenue growth between 6% and 8% and diluted earnings per share estimate in the range of $2.35 to $2.50.

Momo Inc ((MOMO)) surged 14% or $5.45 to $44.40 after the China-focused mobile-based social networking services provider reported net revenues in the first-quarter ending in March jumped 64% from a year ago to $435.1 million.

Net income in the quarter soared 60% to $129.9 million or 63 cents per diluted share from $81.2 million or 40 cents in the same quarter last year.

Momo forecasted fiscal 2018 second-quarter revenue growth between $470 million and $485 million, representing growth of 51% to 55% from a year ago period.

Multi-Color Corporation ((LABL)) jumped 11.9% or $7.40 to $69.75 after the labeling solution provider said revenues in the fourth-quarter ending in March surged 84% from a year ago to $449.7 million.

Net income in the quarter soared 32.3% to $22.1 million or $1.08 per diluted share from $16.7 million or 98 cents in the same quarter last year.
