Manz AG Net Drops, IMMOFinanz Loss Narrows

IMMOFINANZ net loss narrowed after revenues increased. Manz profit declined but revenues soared 41%. Software AG net tumbled 50%. Sodexo said revenues in North America dropped in health care and education segments.

In London trading, FTSE 100 index gained 11.87 or 0.2% to 7,056.61 and in Frankfurt the DAX index jumped 156.02 or 1.3% to 12,096.73.

In Paris, CAC 40 index increased 36.86 or 0.7% to 5,167.30.

IMMOFINANZ AG rose 0.1% to €2 after Germany-based real estate developer said revenues in the year ending in December increased 1.1% from a year ago to €241.9 million.

Net loss in the year narrowed to €59.1 million from €408.4 million in a year ago period and diluted earnings per share fell to €0.17 from €0.19.

Manz AG gained 1.8% to €31.30 after Germany-based engineering services provider stated revenues in the year ending in December soared 40.7% from a year ago to €325 million.

Net income in the year declined to €2.8 million from €42.6 million in a year ago period and diluted earnings per share slumped to €0.41 from €6.22.

Software AG rose 0.2% to €42.52 after Germany-based enterprise software provider said revenues in the year ending in December surged 17.1% from a year ago to €84.3 billion.

Net income in the year tumbled 50% to €3.4 billion from €6.8 million in a year ago period and diluted earnings per share slumped to €0.32 from €0.64.

Sodexo SA tumbled 15.7% to €81.90 after France-based food on-site services provider reported revenues in the year ending in December declined 3.2% from a year ago to €10.3 billion.

Net income in the year jumped 6.9% to €372 million from €348 million in a year ago period and diluted earnings per share declined to €1.13 from €1.90.

Sodexo said revenues in North America dropped in health care segment and education services but outside North America, onsite revenue growth remained jumped 4.4%.
