Roku IPO Jumps 65% on Debut, Honeywell Lifts Dividend

Earnings Review

CalAmp Corp ((CAMP)) soared 8.1% or $1.72 to $22.84 after the wireless communication services provider said revenues in the second-quarter ending in August fell 0.8% from a year ago to $89.8 million.

Net income in the quarter surged to $12.2 million or 34 cents per diluted share from $0.5 million or 1 cent in the same quarter last year.

Frontera Resources Corporation, the privately held oil and gas services provider stated revenues in the first-half ending in June plunged 25% from a year ago to $1.5 million.

Net loss in the quarter widened to $11.4 million or 0.001 cent per diluted share from $10.9 million or 0.003 cent in the same quarter last year.

Honeywell International Inc ((HON)) increased 60 cents to $141.18 after the industrial conglomerate today said that its plans to increase the annual divided by 12% to $2.98 per share from $2.66 per share and intends to avoid the pressure from investors to spin-off of its aerospace subsidiary.

KB Home ((KBH)) surged 8.6% or $1.86 to $24.08 after the homebuilder reported total revenues in the third-quarter ending in August soared 24.7% from a year ago to $1.1 billion.

Net income in the quarter surged 27.4% to $50.2 million or 51 cents per diluted share from $39.4 million or 42 cents in the same quarter last year.

Roku Inc ((ROKU)) surged 20.4% or $4.80 to $28.30 after the digital video streaming services provider raised $219 million through an initial public offering priced at $14 per share.
