Kingfisher European Revenues Surge; Wirecard Cites Digital Payment Trends

In London trading, FTSE 100 index slumped 29.06 or 0.4% to 7,403.54 and in Frankfurt the DAX index fell 21.72 or 0.2% to 12,242.85.
In Paris, CAC 40 index decreased 14.55 or 0.3% to 5,162.06.
ADO Properties SA decreased 0.5% to €39.33 after Luxembourg-based residential real estate developer said revenues in the first-half ending in June soared 13.9% from a year ago to €59.7 million.
Net profit in the period surged 31.8% to €157.1 million from €119.2 million in a year ago six-month period and diluted earnings per share jumped to €3.44 from €3.15.
The residential property developer said fair value adjustment of investment properties and asset acquisitions in the first six months of 2017 surged 26% to €159.8 million.
The real estate developer reaffirmed fiscal 2017 estimate of at least €62 million.
Coloplast A/S slipped 1.2% to 513.50 Danish kronor after Denmark-based healthcare products and services provider said revenues in the nine-month ending in June jumped 6% from a year ago to 11.5 billion kronor.
Net profit in the period advanced 3% to 2.8 billion kronor from 2.7 billion kronor in a year ago period and diluted earnings per share increased to 13.13 kronor from 12.78 kronor.
Operating profit in the period jumped 4% to 3.7 billion kronor and pretax profit increased 3% to 3.6 billion kronor.
The healthcare products maker said revenues in Ostomy Care products soared 7% and Continence Care revenue surged 8% to 4.1 billion kronor.
Diebold Nixdorf AG, formerly Wincor Nixdorf AG fell 0.4% to €71.88 after Germany-based information systems maker reported net sales in the nine-month period ending in June declined 6% from a year ago to €1.8 billion.
Net profit in the period tumbled 31% to €61 million from €89 million in the same period a year ago.
Hikma Pharmaceuticals Plc plunged 8.3% to 1,218.66 pence after the U.K.-based automobile insurance provider said group revenues in the first-half ending in June advanced 5% from a year ago to $895 million.
Net income in the period soared 19% to $69 million from $58 million in a year ago six-month period and diluted earnings per share increased to 28.6 cents from 25.4 cents.
Kingfisher Plc plummeted 5.9% to 291 pence after the U.K.-based home improvement products retailer reported total group sales in the first-half ending in June jumped 4.5% from a year ago to £6 billion.
Sales in Russia, Poland and Spain in the first-half jumped 24.8%, 18.5% and 3.7% respectively while sales in the U.K. and Ireland fell 0.3% to £2.6 billion.
Wirecard AG increased 0.5% to €68.94 after Germany-based electronic payment services provider reported revenues in the first-half ending in June surged 36.2% from a year ago to €615.5 million.
Net profit in the period plunged 37.4% to €104.5 million from €166.8 million in a year ago six-month period and diluted earnings per share declined to €0.85 from €1.35.
Wirecard said transaction volumes processed in the first-half soared 38.2% to €37.9 billion, this was driven by the accelerating global trend for digitalization of payment processes.
The electronic payment solution provider reaffirmed fiscal 2017 operating income forecast between €392 million and €406 million.
