Sensex in Mumbai trading declined to a 6-1/2 months low and foreign investors book profit. In 2015, the benchmark index declined 3.3%. Greaves Cotton profit plunged 54%. IIFL Holdings net and revenues surged. KEC International net soared 83%. Sintex Industries net climbed 23%.

Rupee weakened 69 paisa 64.23.

The Sensex Index slipped 118.26 or 0.4% to close at 26,599.11. The CNX Nifty decreased 39.70 or 0.5% to 8,057.30.

In 2015, the Sensex is down 3.3%.

Gainers & Losers

Force Motors Limited rose 0.9% to ₹1,584 after the automaker said net in the fourth-quarter increased 3.2% to ₹46.28 crore.

Total sales in the quarter climbed 19.9% to ₹724.64 crore.

Greaves Cotton Limited increased 1.8% to ₹134.85 after the farm equipment operator said net in the quarter plunged 54% to ₹23.74 crore.

Total revenues in the quarter declined 15.5% to ₹404.70 crore.

IIFL Holdings Limited soared 6.3% to ₹185.10 after the financial services provider said net in the fourth-quarter surged 62.2% to ₹132 crore.

Total revenues in the quarter climbed 34% to ₹1,057 crore.

KEC International Limited advanced 2.9% to ₹98.60 after the infrastructure developer said net profit in the fourth-quarter soared 83% to ₹62.89 crore.

Net sales in the quarter jumped 15.9% to ₹2,521 crore.

Sintex Industries Limited dropped 5% to ₹104.40 after the plastics and textile products provider said net in the fourth-quarter climbed 22.71% to ₹197.78 crore.

Net sales in the quarter jumped 9.34% to ₹2,168.15 crore.

Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd climbed 5.1% to ₹205.20 after the movie video distributor said net profit in the fourth-quarter soared 81.65% to ₹12.77 crore.

Net sales in the quarter climbed 64.68% to ₹86.82 crore.

Triveni Turbine Limited dropped 2.5% to ₹115.10 after the steam turbine maker said net in the fourth-quarter soared 52.5% to ₹29.39 crore.

Net revenues in the quarter surged 55.1% to ₹211.83 crore.
