Record High in Sensex in India, Maruti Net Rises 18%

Market indexes in Mumbai opened higher and reached a new intra-day record and closed at a record high on a sustained investment flows from foreign investors.
Investors also took a positive view of the $4 billion of loans and business deals announced during his 3-day trip by the U.S. President Barack Obama and improving trade and business outlook between India and the United States of America.
Indian rupee closed at 61.39 against one dollar.
The Sensex Index jumped 292.20 or 1% to close at 29,571.04. The CNX Nifty increased 74.90 or 0.9% to 8,910.50.
Gainers & Losers
Bharat Electronics Limited surged 5.7% to ₹3,400.75 after the electronics product maker said net in the third-quarter soared 41.8% to ₹271.81 crore.
Net sales climbed 34.9% to ₹1,581.66 crore.
Gayatri Projects Limited decreased 0.1% to ₹175.05 after the infrastructure developer in joint venture secured a contract worth ₹119 crore from the Government of Chhattisgarh.
Godrej Properties Limited climbed 2.9% to ₹274.30 after the real estate developer said net in the third-quarter jumped 26.44% to ₹47.24 crore.
Revenues surged 112.12% to ₹538.64 crore.
Shriram Transport Finance Company, Ltd advanced 1.2% to ₹1,101.10 after financial service provider the net in the third-quarter fell 1.1% to ₹321.27 crore.
Total revenues increased 6.82% to ₹2,346.91 crore.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited advanced 2.1% to ₹3,685.20 after the largest car maker reported net in the third-quarter climbed 17.76% to ₹802.16 crore.
Net revenues jumped 15.38% to ₹12,704.72 crore.
Union Bank of India Ltd plunged 5.3% to ₹238.20 after the financial service provider said net in the third-quarter dropped 13.33% to ₹302.42 crore.
Net revenues advanced 8.39% to ₹8,921 crore.
United Spirits Limited rose 1.1% to ₹3,485.20 after the beverage maker said net in the third-quarter soared 21.39% to ₹78.81 crore.
Net sales added 2.3% to ₹2,318 crore.
Ultratech Cement Limited fell 0.7% to ₹3,120 after the cement producer reported net in the third-quarter rose 1% to ₹400 crore.
Net revenues gained 14% to ₹5,835 crore.
