The Sensex Index slid 1.30 to close at 28,442.71. The CNX Nifty rose 12.95 or 0.2% to 8,537.65.

JSW Energy Limited slipped 1.3% to Rs 95.65 and the largest electric utility provider agreed to acquire two power projects for about Rs 9,700 crore from JP Power.
Omaxe Limited fell 0.9% to Rs 126 and the real estate developer plans to raise Rs 500 crore through debt securities.

Pennar Industries Limited jumped 2.9% to Rs 57.15 after the steel products maker received orders of about Rs 102 crore in November.

Patels Airtemp (India) Limited surged 14.8% to Rs 176.25 after the air cooled heat exchange maker secured an export order worth Rs 56 crore in South America.

Tata Motors Limited slid 0.09% to Rs 528.50 and the truck and motor vehicle maker set up new automobile manufacturing unit in Brazil with estimated investment of $290 million.

Sahara One Media and Entertainment Limited rose 0.9% to Rs 94.90 after the Supreme Court allowed to sell four properties worth Rs 2,700 crore of the parent Sahara group.
