The Sensex Index climbed 321.32 or 1.2% to close at 26,429.85 The CNX Nifty jumped 99.70 or 1.3% to 7,879.40.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited jumped 3.1% to Rs 398.90 after net in the second-quarter climbed 25.3% to Rs 77.27 crore and net revenue surged 12.5% to Rs 547.22 crore.

Blue Star Infotech Limited surged 13.3% to Rs 234.95 after net in the second-quarter soared 83.3% to Rs 5.70 crore and sales rose 0.38% to Rs 64.31 crore.

Hindustan Zinc Limited climbed 3.5% to Rs 164.65 after net in the second-quarter surged 33.1% to Rs 2,183.52 crore and total revenue soared 17.6% to Rs 4,499.03 crore.

Jindal Saw Limited surged 7.8% to Rs 81.90 after net in the second-quarter soared 239.8% to Rs 74.61 crore and total revenue climbed 29.9% to Rs 1,589.53 crore.

Oberoi Realty Limited jumped 3.3% to Rs 218.10 after net in the second-quarter advanced 9.9% to Rs 70.54 crore and net revenue dropped 6.1% to Rs 189.37 crore.

Unichem Laboratories Limited plunged 10.4% to Rs 199.10 after net in the second-quarter tumbled 38.4% to Rs 22.32 crore and net sales rose 3.3% to Rs 274.95 crore.

UltraTech Cement Limited gained 5.5% to Rs 2,450.55 after net in the second-quarter surged 48% to Rs 414.24 crore and sales soared 18.5% to Rs 5,821.48 crore.
