Gainers & Losers

Apollo Tyres Ltd gained 1.8% to Rs 205 after the company selected Hungary for an investment of up to €475 million to set up a green-field facility in Eastern Europe.

Separately, the company''s board approved to set up the facility for total capacity of 5.5 million passenger car and light truck tires.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited jumped 3.5% to Rs 228.45 after the company secured contract for Rs 3,536 crore from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation for thermal power project in Gujarat.

Larsen & Toubro Limited jumped 3.6% to Rs 1,574.90 after the company won order to construct an airbase from the ministry of defence in Oman.

Parsvnath Developers Limited climbed 4.2% to Rs 23.70 after the company transferred its development rights in a Gurgaon-based township project to Supertech.

Sutlej textiles and industries limited surged 6.4% to Rs 410.50 after the company expand manufacturing capacity of home textiles with a capital investment of Rs 88.50 crore.

Thomas Cook (India) Limited increased 1.8% to Rs 148.20 after the company’s subsidiary IKYA Group signed an agreement to acquire Canada-based BrainhunterCompanies for an undisclosed price.
