L&T, Bajaj and Gayatri Win Orders, Titan Selects Coimbatore for New Plant

Bajaj Electricals won eight new orders totaling Rs 518 crore from Madhya Pradesh government. Gravita India won export order worth Rs 230 crore Gayatri Projects received Rs 159 crore order from NHAI. L&T secured an order worth Rs 1,885 crore from NTPC.

Gainers & Losers

Bajaj Electricals Ltd fell 0.5% to Rs 277.30 after the household appliances maker won eight new orders for Rs.518.46 crore for Rural Electrification work in Madhya Pradesh.

Gravita India Limited surged 7.9% to Rs 89.35 after the company won export order worth Rs 230 crore from a metal trader for Asian and the U.S. markets.

Gayatri Projects Limited climbed 5.8% to Rs 171.40 after the construction company received new order from National Highways Authority of India of Rs 159 crore.

Larsen & Toubro Limited slipped 1.1% to Rs 1,578.85 after the company secured order worth Rs 1,885 crore from NTPC.

Ingersoll-Rand (India) Limited surged 10.7% to Rs 768.10 after the company plans to invest Rs 100 crore to upgrade its manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad.

Titan Company Limited gained 1.4% to Rs 387.25 after the company commissioned stainless steel case plant for its watch division in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
