Borse Dubai Divests LSE Stake, Fraport Acquires Slovenia Airport Stake

[R]4:00 PM Frankfurt – Emis profit jumped 6% to £9.6 million and revenue soared 41%. Fraport agreed to acquire 75.5% stake in Ljubljana airport for €177 million. Borse Dubai sold its 3.1% stake in LSE.[/R]

In London trading, FTSE 100 index fell 0.5% or 31.27 to 6,846.70 and in Frankfurt the DAX index rose 0.1% or 10.74 to 9,735.

In Paris, CAC 40 index slid 0.3% or 12.89 to 4,482.05.

Axa SA dropped 0.9% to €19.39 after the France-based insurance services provider offered between $154.2 million to $185 million for the insurance arm of Poland''s mBank, according to local reports in Poland.

Emis Group Plc climbed 3.6% to 756.50 pence after the U.K.-based medical software and technology services provider reported group revenue in the third-quarter ending in June soared 41% to £66.4 million from £47.1 million a year ago period.

Profit in the quarter jumped 5.5% from a year ago to £9.56 million compared to £9.06 million and diluted earnings per share fell 3% to 15.2 pence from 15.6 pence.

Enel SpA slipped 0.7% to €4.22 and the Italy-based electricity and gas utility provider said it will take decision in next 30 days about its stake in Spanish utility Endesa SA.

In a meeting, chief executive officer Francesco Starace said, ""There are three options: increase the free float, delist the company or do nothing.""

Fraport AG gained 1.8% to €53.06 after the Germany-based operator of air transportation hub agreed to acquire75.5% stake in Ljubljana airport of Slovenia for €177.1 million.

London Stock Exchange Group Plc dropped 2.4% to 2,034 pence after the Borse Dubai Ltd. sold a stake of 3.1% in the U.K.-based exchange operator.
