Godrej, SAIL Revenues Soar; Adani Net Swings to Profit

Adani Enterprises net swung to profit on 41% increase of revenue. Bosch net surged 22%. Diamond Power net rose 7%. Emami profit jumped 17% after sales climbed 26%. GAIL (India) net plunged 23%. Godrej net and sales climbed. SAIL net soared 17%.

The Sensex Index jumped 190.10 or 0.7% to close at 25,519.24 The CNX Nifty increased 57.40 to 7,625.95.

Gainers & Losers

Adani Enterprises Ltd soared 5.7% to Rs 479.60 after the company reported net in the first-quarter swung to profit Rs 556.74 crore compared to a loss of Rs 278.30 crore and revenues surged 40.9% to Rs 16,671.55 crore.

Bosch Ltd rose 0.7% to Rs 13,648.70 after net profit in the first-quarter surged 21.8% to Rs 306.68 crore and total sales increased 4.05% to Rs 2,492.19 crore.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd climbed 4.4% to Rs 115 after net profit in the first-quarter increased 7.2% to Rs 36.46 crore and revenues soared 39.6% to Rs 805.04 crore.

Emami Ltd advanced 4.8% to Rs 561.25 after net profit in the first-quarter jumped 16.7% to Rs 70.81 crore and total sales climbed 26% to Rs 502.50 crore.

GAIL (India) Limited declined 4.3% to Rs 390.15 after net profit in the first-quarter plunged 23.1% to Rs 621.44 crore and total revenue jumped 4.5% to Rs 13,544.66 crore.

Godrej Industries Limited increased 2% to Rs 334.50 after net profit in the first-quarter soared 46% to Rs 78 crore and revenue climbed 23% to Rs 2,394 crore.

Godawari Power and Ispat Limited surged 10% to Rs 153.25 after net profit in the first-quarter climbed 113.8% to Rs 58.93 crore and net sales jumped 16.8% to Rs 596.95 crore.

Steel Authority of India Limited jumped 2% to Rs 83 after net profit in the first-quarter soared 17.5% to Rs 529.88 crore and total revenue climbed 9.9% to Rs 11,536.98 crore.

Sobha Developers Ltd plunged 4.9% to Rs 403.70 after net profit in the first-quarter jumped 13.8% to Rs 57 crore and revenue surged 26% to Rs 583 crore.
