Asian Paints Ltd increased 1.5% to Rs 602.75 after net profit in the first-quarter soared 23.1% to Rs 338.70 crore and total revenue climbed 18.8% to Rs 3,409.55 crore.
BS Ltd jumped 2% to Rs 37.50 after the company secured order worth Rs 69 crore for construction of electric transmission lines in Andhra Pradesh.
Exide Industries soared 4.6% to Rs 165.20 after net profit in the first-quarter climbed 16.7% to Rs 185.30 crore and net sales surged 17.4% to Rs 1,909.61 crore.
Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India Ltd gained 2.7% to Rs 373.95 after net profit in the first-quarter surged 202.3% to Rs 43.02 crore and net sales jumped 27.1% to Rs 595.94 crore.
Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited climbed 4.8% to Rs 1,651 after net profit in the first-quarter soared 19.7% to Rs 72.98 crore and total revenues jumped 16.6% to Rs 923.70 crore.
Linde India Ltd rose 0.7% to Rs 353 after net in the first-quarter swung to a loss of Rs 1.69 crore from profit of Rs 5.94 crore and net sales climbed 8.2% to Rs 351.55 crore.
Savita Oil Technologies Ltd plummeted 8.4% to Rs 706.40 after net profit in the first-quarter tumbled 15.5% to Rs 6.31 crore and net sales increased 1.1% to Rs 485.61 crore.
Thermax Ltd plunged 8.6% to Rs 867.95 after net profit in the first-quarter declined 17.7% to Rs 41.40 crore and revenue dropped 2.7% to Rs 839.40 crore.
Tata Coffee Ltd dropped 1.9% to Rs 949.80 after net profit in the first-quarter plummeted 24.9% to Rs 30.31 crore and total revenue plunged 10.5% to Rs 374.52 crore.
