Cox & Kings net loss narrowed but sales soared 115%. Jyoti Structures plunged after net swung to a loss. NMDC profit climbed 34% after revenue jumped 18%. REI Agro net swung to a loss. Uflex net soared.

The Sensex Index climbed 467.51 or 1.9% to close at 24,684.85 The CNX Nifty jumped 132.55 to 7,362.50.

Gainers & Losers

Coal India Ltd rose 0.6% to Rs 373.35 after the coal producer and its subsidiaries achieved 94% of targeted production in May of 36.27 million tons.

Cox & Kings Ltd surged 7.9% to Rs 182.10 after the tour operator reported a consolidated net loss in the fourth-quarter narrowed to Rs 46 crore from Rs 49 crore and net sales soared 115.2% to Rs 495 crore.

Easun Reyrolle Ltd declined 5.3% to Rs 74.80 after the company reported net in the fourth-quarter swung to a loss of Rs 16.08 crore as against net profit of Rs 12.46 crore and revenue plummeted 36.3% to Rs 36.83 crore.

Jyoti Structures Limited plunged 10% to Rs 54.90 after the company reported net in the fourth-quarter swung to a loss of Rs 12.53 crore from net profit of Rs 22.20 crore and total revenue surged 39.3% to Rs 1,307.62 crore.

NMDC Limited jumped 3.4% to Rs 175.95 after net profit in the fourth-quarter surged 33.9% to Rs 1,962.14 crore and total revenues increased 17.6% to Rs 4,412.03 crore.

REI Agro Limited climbed 4.7% to Rs 2.87 after the company reported net in the fourth-quarter swung to a loss Rs 49.70 crore compared to net profit of Rs 67.73 crore and net sales declined 60.9% to Rs 512.12 crore.

Tata Power Company Limited jumped 2% to Rs 105.95 after the company said it commissioned its second 25 megawatts solar farm in Palaswadi, Maharashtra.

Uflex Ltd surged 19.6% to Rs 123.65 after net profit in the fourth-quarter climbed 45.9% to Rs 60.10 crore and net sales jumped 17.5% to Rs 1,376.87 crore.
