Apollo Hospitals net jumped 7%. Havells India profit climbed 25%. Hawkins net soared. JSW Steel net surged 63%. Jet Airways net loss widened. Oil India net and sales plunged. SAIL profit edged up. SCI surged after net swung to profit. Thermax profit dropped 8%.

The Sensex Index edged up 6.24 to close at 24,555.75 The CNX Nifty rose 11.65 to 7,329.65.

Gainers & Losers

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited rose 0.5% to Rs 924.954 after net profit in the fourth-quarter jumped 7.7% to Rs 81.34 crore and revenue soared 17.9% to Rs 1,005.21 crore.

Havells India Ltd declined 2.5% to Rs 941.80 after net profit in the fourth-quarter climbed 24.8% to Rs 136.92 crore and revenue soared 13.01% to Rs 1,324.05 crore.

Hawkins Cooker Ltd jumped 18.6% to Rs 2,558.90 after net profit in the fourth-quarter soared 12.4% to Rs 13.12 crore and sales climbed 14.8% to Rs 141.86 crore.

JSW Steel Limited slid 1.9% to Rs 1,204.35 after net profit in the fourth-quarter surged 63.2% to Rs 482.83 crore and total revenues soared 44.7% to Rs 14,343.53 crore.

Jet Airways (India) Limited plunged 8.5% to Rs 245.35 after net loss in the fourth-quarter widened to Rs 2,153.57 crore from Rs 495.53 crore and revenues jumped 9.6% to Rs 4,678.17 crore.

Oil India Limited slipped 2% to Rs 567.70 after net profit in the fourth-quarter plunged 26% to Rs 565.62 crore and net sales tumbled 23.2% to Rs 1,825.22 crore.

For the year, net profit declined 18.09% to Rs 2,941.98 crore and revenue fell 2.5% to Rs 9,715.71 crore.

Steel Authority of India Limited dropped 2.9% to Rs 90.90 after net profit in the fourth-quarter rose 1.3% to Rs 452.58 crore and total revenues jumped 9.1% to Rs 13,684.32 crore.

For the year, net profit climbed 21.3% to Rs 2,631.89 crore and total revenue increased 4.5% to Rs 47,675.29 crore.

SJVN Ltd rose 0.4% to Rs 25.15 after net profit in the fourth-quarter declined 8.3% to Rs 144.83 crore and total revenues climbed 46.3% to Rs 312.04 crore.

The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd surged 14.3% to Rs 63.05 after the company reported net in the fourth-quarter swung to profit Rs 13.24 crore compared to a loss of Rs 281.44 crore and net sales surged 25.3% to Rs 1,203.95 crore.

Thermax Ltd fell 1.7% to Rs 892.60 after net profit in the fourth-quarter dropped 8.2% to Rs 105.91 crore and net sales slumped 6.3% to Rs 1,357.45 crore.
