Gainers & Losers
Adani Enterprises Ltd gained 1.9% to Rs 541.25 after net income in the fourth-quarter surged 501.08% to Rs 2,847.82 crore and total revenues climbed 38.9% to Rs 16,418.67 crore.
For the year profit surged 37.7% to Rs 2,220.77 crore and total revenue jumped 18.7% to Rs 56,225.86 crore.
Hindalco Industries Limited jumped 7.8% to Rs 152.05 after the company''s U.S.-based subsidiary Novelis reported net profit dropped 8.5% to $54 million and net sales increased 2% to $2.55 billion.
Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd climbed 3.1% to Rs 1,191.20 after net income in the fourth-quarter declined 23.7% to Rs 24.95 crore and total revenue surged 18.6% to Rs 436.08 crore.
J K Cement Ltd surged 19.7% to Rs 300.45 after net income in the fourth-quarter jumped 35.9% to Rs 76.38 crore and sales increased 7.9% to Rs 832.71 crore.
Jayant Agro-Organics Ltd tumbled 10.9% to Rs 103.50 after net income in the fourth-quarter plunged 37.5% to Rs 4.76 crore and revenue declined 16.7% to Rs 394.49 crore.
Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd dropped 3.7% to Rs 2,806.15 after net income in the fourth-quarter climbed 10% to Rs 311 crore and total revenue rose 2% to Rs 895 crore.
SpiceJet Limited soared 10.7% to Rs 16.55 after the company reported net loss in the fourth-quarter widened to Rs 321.51 crore from Rs 185.71 crore and revenues jumped 8.4% to Rs 1,589.61 crore.
Tata Communications Limited jumped 3.7% to Rs 304.80 after the wireless operator agreed to sell its South African telecommunications unit, Neotel Pty., to a subsidiary of Vodafone for 7 billion rand or $676 million or Rs 3,978 crore.
