    Axis Bank net climbed 19% Bajaj Auto net soared 11%. HCL net jumped 6%. KEC Intl secured orders worth Rs 1,215 crore. LIC Housing Finance net surged 38%. L&T unit secured new orders for Rs 1,000 crore.

The Sensex Index slid 24.31 to close at 21,265.18. The CNX Nifty fell 2 to close at 6,318.90.

Gainers & Losers

Axis Bank Limited slid 0.1% to Rs 1,176.95 after net profit in the third-quarter climbed 19.1% to Rs 1,604.11 crore and total revenue jumped 9.9% to Rs 9,433.55 crore.

The bank''s gross non-performing assets increased to Rs 3,008.20 crore compared to Rs 2734.47 crore in second-quarters and Rs 2,275.30 crore a year ago period.

Agro Tech Foods Ltd declined 4.4% to Rs 534.15 after net profit in the third-quarter rose 0.2% to Rs 13.08 crore and net sales declined 10.4% to Rs 197.06 crore.

Bajaj Auto Limited gained 0.7% to Rs 1,908 after net profit in the third-quarter soared 10.5% to Rs 904.55 crore and total revenue increased 4.7% to Rs 5,353.08 crore.

HCL Technologies Limited climbed 4.2% to Rs 1,391.90 after net income in the second-quarter as per U.S. accounting standards jumped 5.7% to Rs 1,496 crore and revenues grew 2.8% to Rs 8,184 crore.

Revenue in Europe and Americas rose 5% and 3.4% and infrastructure services and business services revenue grew at 4.8% and 11.4% respectively.

InfoTech Enterprises Limited soared 4.7% to Rs 346.85 after net profit in the third-quarter fell 4.3% to Rs 69.39 crore and revenue jumped 5.3% to Rs 578.37 crore.

KEC International Ltd rose 0.4% to Rs 55.35 after the company secured orders worth Rs 1,215 crore in its transmission and cables businesses.

LIC Housing Finance Limited slipped 0.9% to Rs 211 after net profit in the third-quarter surged 38.2% to Rs 326.58 crore and total revenue soared 21.6% to Rs 2,376.36 crore.

Larsen & Toubro Limited increased 0.4% to Rs 1,002.80 after the company’s hydrocarbon unit secured new orders worth Rs 1,000 crore.

Speciality Restaurants Ltd surged 6.4% to Rs 129 after the company formed a new joint venture with Al-Mohannadi Group in Doha, Qatar. The company will hold a majority stake of 51% in the venture.
