The Sensex Index jumped 130.55 or 0.6% to close at 21,164.52 The CNX Nifty increased 47.45 or 0.8% to close at 6,299.15.

Gainers & Losers

Adani Enterprises Limited slipped 1.7% to Rs 207.40 after net in the second quarter swung to a loss Rs 416.95 crore compared to a profit of Rs 320.21 crore.

Total revenue in the quarter soared 33.7% to Rs 14,009.63 crore.

Allahabad Bank surged 13.3% to Rs 91.75 after net profit in the second quarter jumped 17.8% to Rs 275.81 crore and revenue climbed 15.7% to Rs 5,303.06 crore.

Bank of India soared 21.3% to Rs 209.90 after net profit in the second quarter surged 106% to Rs 621.77 crore and revenue advanced 16.2% to Rs 10,339.55 crore.

Bank of Baroda Limited jumped 10.8% to Rs 643.20 after net profit in the second quarter slipped 10.3% to Rs 1,168.10 crore and revenues climbed 9.4% to Rs 10,447.31 crore.

Cadila Healthcare Limited rose 0.4% to Rs 663.05 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter soared 93.8% to Rs 183.37 crore and total revenue soared 13.2% to Rs 1,759.02 crore.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited dropped 2.6% to Rs 2,455.95 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter surged 69.4% to Rs 690.25 crore and sales climbed 17.4% to Rs 3,421.12 crore.

DLF Limited jumped 1.7% to Rs 151.70 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter plunged 28.1% to Rs 100 crore and revenue increased 3% to Rs 2,225 crore.

Oberoi Realty Limited gained 1.6% to Rs 188.40 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter tumbled 48.4% to Rs 64.14 crore and revenue plunged 28.7% to Rs 201.67 crore.

Suzlon Energy Limited declined 4.9% to Rs 9.70 after net loss in the second quarter narrowed to Rs 782.37 crore compared to Rs 807.74 crore. Total revenue plummeted 66% to Rs 4,820.54 crore.

Titan Company Limited jumped 5.5% to Rs 270.20 after net profit in the second quarter grew 3.7% to Rs 186.65 crore and revenue rose 1.4% to Rs 2,258.29 crore.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited climbed 5.1% to Rs 447.55 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter jumped 4.6% to Rs 113 crore and revenue climbed 25% to Rs 972 crore.
