Ajanta Pharma net surged 155% after revenue soared. Colgate-Palmolive net declined 25% as sales dropped 16%. Dabur profit surged 23%. JSW Energy net plunged 36%. Just Dial profit jumped 98% on sales increase of 29%. Neyveli Lignite net plunged 28%.

The Sensex Index slipped 113.24 or 0.5% to close at 20,570.28 The CNX Nifty dropped 43.80 to close at 6,101.10.

Ajanta Pharma Limited jumped 13.7% to Rs 832 after net profit in the second quarter surged 155% to Rs 56 crore and revenues soared 50% to Rs 280 crore.

Bharat Gears Limited soared 17.1% to Rs 41 after net profit in the second quarter surged 672.9% to Rs 3.71 crore and net sales climbed 8.5% to Rs 108.69 crore.

Bharti Infratel Limited fell 2% to Rs 153.40 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter plunged 22.4% to Rs 277.40 crore and revenue grew 2.4% to Rs 2,683.70 crore.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited slipped 4.3% to Rs 1,224 after net profit in the second quarter declined 24.5% to Rs 109.52 crore and net sales dropped 16% to Rs 895.70 crore.

Dabur India Limited declined 3% to Rs 177 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter surged 23.4% to Rs 249.74 crore and sales jumped 14.5% to Rs 1,776.79 crore.

Essel Propack Limited climbed 5% to Rs 43.80 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter soared 23.5% to Rs 28.69 crore and revenues advanced 10.4% to Rs 526.07 crore.

Everest Industries Limited declined 13.9% to Rs 129.90 after net in the second quarter swung to a loss Rs 6.65 crore compared to a profit of Rs 12.51 crore. Net sales declined 10.4% to Rs 198.03 crore.

JSW Energy Limited slipped 2.7% to Rs 44.95 after net profit in the second quarter plunged 35.8% to Rs 163 crore and revenues lowered 2.5% to Rs 2,025 crore.

Just Dial Limited gained 2.6% to Rs 1,052 after net profit in the second quarter surged 98% to Rs 28.66 crore and net sales climbed 28.6% to Rs 112.66 crore.

KEC International Limited surged 10.9% to Rs 34.20 after consolidated net profit in the second quarter soared 34% to Rs 22 crore and net sales gained 6.6% to Rs 1,778 crore.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited slipped 1.5% to Rs 57.05 after net profit in the second quarter plunged 28.3% to Rs 240 crore and net sales increased 2.5% to Rs 1,382.82 crore.

TAJGVK Hotels & Resorts Limited dropped 2% to Rs 54.75 after net in the second quarter swung to a loss Rs 1.90 crore compared to a profit of Rs 1.68 crore. Net sales slipped 6.4% to Rs 56.96 crore.
