Ambuja Cements net and sales declined. Emami net soared 35% and sales jumped 14%. IHFL advanced after profit and revenue surged. IPCA net rose. Jet Airways net loss widened as passenger yields declined 11%. Kotak Mahindra profit climbed. Raymond net jumped.

Gainers & Losers

Ambuja Cements Ltd fell 1.4% to Rs 193.95 after net profit in the second-quarter declined 45.4% to Rs 166 crore and net sales dropped 7.4% to Rs 2,005 crore.

Autoline Industries Limited slumped 3.3% to Rs 68.95 after the company reported consolidated net in the second-quarter swung to a loss Rs 15.40 crore compared to a net profit of Rs 3.66 crore.

Net Sales in the quarter declined 10.46% to Rs 180 crore from a year earlier.

Emami Limited climbed 3.3% to Rs 494.90 after consolidated net profit in the second-quarter soared 35.1% to Rs 79.96 crore and total revenue advanced 13.6% to Rs 423.17 crore.

eClerx Services Limited jumped 4% to Rs 944 after consolidated net profit in the second-quarter increased 8.9% to Rs 67.18 crore and total sales rose 13% to Rs 214.61 crore.

Greenply Industries Limited decreased 1.9% to Rs 411.95 after net profit in the second-quarter declined 16.7% to Rs 26.52 crore and total sales climbed 12.8% to Rs 584 crore.

Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited climbed 3.8% to Rs 198.85 after net profit in the second-quarter surged three-fold to Rs 353.11 crore and revenue jumped three-fold to Rs 1,348.13 crore.

IPCA Laboratories Ltd gained 1.6% to Rs 675.15 after net profit in the second-quarter grew 3% to Rs 129.45 crore and total sales jumped 10% to Rs 852.03 crore.

Jet Airways (India) Limited slipped 1.8% to Rs 339.75 after the company reported net loss in the second-quarter widened to Rs 891.01 crore compared to Rs 99.67 crore a year ago. Net revenue rose 0.9% to Rs 3,788.23 crore.

Total revenue in the quarter rose 1.7% to Rs 4,267.77 crore and operating revenue grew 1% to Rs 4,607.90 crore.

In the quarter, passenger yields declined 11% to Rs 7,376 from Rs 8,335 a year earlier.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited slid 0.3% to Rs 706.45 after net profit in the second-quarter surged 25.7% to Rs 352.54 crore and total revenue climbed 13.6% to Rs 2,469.46 crore.

NHPC Limited declined 4.6% to Rs 18.70 after the company’s board approved buyback of shares at Rs 19.25 per share.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited slid 1.8% to Rs 98.85 after net profit in the second-quarter climbed 10.1% to Rs 1,239.20 crore and total revenue surged 26.6% to Rs 4,104.43 crore.

PI Industries Ltd surged 17.7% to Rs 195.35 after net profit in the second-quarter jumped 114.1% to Rs 55.29 crore and net sales soared 54.7% to Rs 461.14 crore.

Raymond Limited rose 0.4% to Rs 270.75 after consolidated net profit in the second-quarter climbed 84% to Rs 92 crore and net sales jumped 10% to Rs 1,224 crore.

SKS Microfinance Ltd climbed 2.3% to Rs 158.85 after the company reported net in the second-quarter swung to a profit Rs 16.34 crore compared to a net loss of Rs 262.15 crore.
