3M India Limited rose 0.7% to Rs 3,441 after net profit in the first quarter declined 24.7% to Rs 12.59 crore and sales rose 2.9% to Rs 413.46 crore.
The Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Limited slipped 1.8% to Rs 275.85 after the company reported net swung to a Rs 8.13 crore profit compared to net loss of Rs 15.81 crore and net sales soared 37.4% to Rs 256.32 crore.
Dabur India Limited climbed 2.4% to Rs 174.95 after consolidated net profit in the first quarter jumped 25% to Rs 187.04 crore and revenues climbed 13% to Rs 1,651.10 crore from Rs 1,461.97 crore a year ago.
Consumer care business increased 14.3% of revenue to Rs 1,343.15 crore and food business revenue climbed 18.2% to Rs 249.96 crore. Retail business surged 27.1% of revenue to Rs 16.86 crore. Domestic Consumer goods business grew 13.2%.
Greenply Industries Limited fell 1.2% to Rs 492 after net profit in the first quarter jumped 25.6% to Rs 22.57 crore and sales increased 11.6% to Rs 480.50 crore.
Hero Motocorp Ltd slid 1.5% to Rs 1,757.75 after net profit in the first quarter declined 7% to Rs 549 crore and net sales fell to Rs 6,127 crore from Rs 6,247 crore.
Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited declined 3% to Rs 423.90 after net profit dropped 18.3% to Rs 11.79 crore and sales slumped 19% to Rs 120.08 crore.
KPIT Cummins Infosystems Limited slid 1.3% to Rs 132 after consolidated net profit in the first quarter climbed 17.5% to Rs 60.13 crore and revenue increased 7.6% to Rs 613.21 crore.
Somany Ceramics Limited plunged 7.6% to Rs 76 after net profit in the first quarter climbed 10.4% to Rs 5.82 crore and net sales surged 36 to Rs 257.97 crore.
Tata Consultancy Services Limited gained 1.1.9% to Rs 1,782.60 after the company agreed to acquire France based Alti S.A. for €75 million or approx Rs590 crore all in cash transaction.
Alti’s 2012 revenues was €126 million and one of the top five SAP system vendor in France.
United Phosphorus Limited slipped 1.2% to Rs 142.50 after consolidated net profit in the first quarter increased 4.8% to Rs 212.65 crore and total revenue climbed 10.3% to Rs 2,482.26 crore.
YES Bank, Ltd plummeted 12.6% to Rs 383.35 after net profit in the first quarter surged 38.2% to Rs 400.84 crore and total income soared 30.6% to Rs 2839.97 crore.
