Gainers & Losers

Anant Raj Industries Limited soared 8.9% to Rs 55.50 after the company said it received licenses to set up residential and commercial projects in Haryana.

Alstom T&D India Limited rose 1.5% to Rs 162.35 after the company received contract from Bajaj Infrastructure Development Company valued Rs 200 crore.

Canara Bank gained 3.1% to Rs 356.10 after the bank invested 10% stake in Bengaluru based credit rating agency Brickwork Ratings. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Gruh Finance Limited increased 1.5% to Rs 237.35 after net profit in the first quarter surged 26.4% to Rs 33.77 crore and total revenue climbed 24% to Rs 183.19 crore.

For the quarter ended in June, loan assets soared 32% to Rs 5,727.21 crore compared to Rs 4,338.49 crore and non-performing assets recorded at Rs 26.30 crore from Rs 29.73 crore a year ago priod.

JSW Steel Limited added 0.6% to Rs 608.45 after the company is seeking shareholders'' approval for borrowing limit need to increase up to 60% to Rs 40,000 crore.

Punj Lloyd Limited rose 1.4% to Rs 33.15 after the company was awarded a residential complex contract for the Delhi Police for Rs 1,300 crore.

Reliance Capital Ltd climbed 2.8% to Rs 381 after the company sold its entire stake in Benglaru based DTDC Courier and Cargo Ltd. to France based GeoPost SA for $25.85 million.

Ramco Systems Limited surged 9.9% to Rs 85.05 after the maintenance software provider signed Vassallo Industries, a leading PVC manufacturer as its first cloud customer.

Steel Strips Wheels Limited climbed 9.6% to Rs 149.20 after the company was granted patent from the European Patent office for the innovative design concept in semi-full size wheels.
