India Movers: TCS Net Gains 3%, Oil India to Raise $400 Million

Crompton Greaves secured contract worth $60 million from Iraq. GAIL plans to sell its 4.6% stake in China Gas Holdings. HCL Technologies third quarter jumped 7.8%. Oil India plans to raise $400 million. TCS fourth quarter net rose 3% and Yes Bank net surged 33%.

The Sensex Index climbed 387.13 or 2.1% to close at 18,744.93 The CNX Nifty jumped 120.55 or 2.2% to close at 5,688.95.

Gainers & Losers

Crompton Greaves Limited gained 0.9% to Rs 91.55 after the company secured contract worth $60 million from Iraq for high voltage gas insulated substations.

GAIL (India) Limited increased 1.4% to Rs 325.45 after the company plans to sell part of its 4.6% stake in China Gas Holdings listed in Hong Kong.

Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited soared 6.7% to Rs 135.60 after the Singapore based promoter intends for voluntary delist the company.

HCL Technologies Limited slid 0.8% to Rs 756.20 after consolidated net profit in the third quarter jumped 7.8% to Rs 1,040 crore or $193 million.

Jubilant FoodWorks Limited rose 0.7% to Rs 1,081 after the promoter Weston Investment sells 7,00,000 shares of the company for Rs 77 crore.

Oil India Limited gained 1.5% to Rs 563.35 after the company plan to raise $400 million through commercial borrowings.

Tata Consultancy Services Limited slipped 1.7% to Rs 1,459.20 after consolidated net profit in the fourth quarter rose 3% to Rs 3,549.62 crore.

Yes Bank, Ltd. climbed 2.9% to Rs 483 after net profit in the fourth quarter surged 33.2% to Rs 362.15 crore.
