The Sensex Index fell 59.47 or 0.3% to close at 18,450.23 The CNX Nifty slid 21.50 to close at 5,553.25.

For the week Sensex declined 2.1%.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited surged 18.7% to Rs 33.65 after the company secured new projects worth Rs. 1,015.26 crore.

GMR Infrastructure, Ltd climbed 3% to Rs 22.15 after the report the company agreement with Megawide Construction Corp to bid for airport development project in Philippines.

Hindustan Unilever Limited rose 0.1% to Rs 470.50 after it agreed to acquire remaining 74% stake in Aquagel Chemicals Pvt Ltd.

HT Media Limited slipped 2.8% to Rs 95.20 and the company launches weekly Indian business and economy news in Singapore this weekend.

Kitex Garments Limited inched up 0.1% to Rs 57.20 after net profit declined 16.7% to Rs 7.76 crore quarter ended March.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited surged 7.2% to Rs 1,405.95 after the weaker yen would reduce the auto parts import cost from Japan.

Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited slid 0.9% to Rs 261.50 after the company adds Dubai resort to its network.

Larsen & Toubro Limited slid 0.9% to Rs 1,348.75 after the company secured new orders worth Rs 2,004 crore.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited rose 0.4% to Rs 104.85 after the board approved investment of various projects at an estimated cost of Rs 3,450.81 crore.

Reliance Industries Limited increased 1.8% to Rs 780.35 after the company plans to borrow about $2 billion to refinance debt, as of December total outstanding debt was $13.2 billion.

Shriram City Union Finance Limited plunged 4.9% to Rs 1,047.05 and the company hired four bankers for share sale to raised $182 million.

Titagarh Wagons Ltd jumped 2% to Rs 180 after the company said it acquired 100% stake in Titagarh Marine.

Voltas Limited rose 0.9% to Rs 76.45 after the company expects 20% revenue growth from air conditioner segment sale in the current fiscal year.
