The Sensex Index declined 316.55 or 1.6% to close at 19,015.14 The CNX Nifty dropped 93.40 or 1.6% to close at 5,761.35.

Blue Dart Express Limited slipped 1.1% to Rs 2,240 after net profit in the fourth quarter jumped 101.1% to Rs 45.01 crore.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited slumped 2.6% to Rs 202.10 after the company signed contract with the Indian Railways for setting up Greenfield MEMU coach manufacturing facility.

Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) Limited plummeted 11.6% to Rs 70.35 ahead of the railway budget.

Kingfisher Airlines Ltd plunged 4.9% to Rs 10.74 after the government said it will relinquish airport slots and international flight rights to other operators.

Pantaloon Retail (India), Ltd dropped 1.4% to Rs 205.55 after the company reported fourth quarter net swung to a loss of Rs 20.41 crore compared to net profit of Rs 5.64 crore.

Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited declined 3.7% to Rs 417.30 after consolidated net loss in the fourth quarter narrowed to Rs 492.44 crore compared to Rs 2,982.76 crore.

Redington (India) Limited was flat at Rs 85 after the U.S. based Amazon.com Inc appointed the company as a national distributor for the Kindle devices.

Raj Television Network Limited slipped 1.3% to Rs 218.85 after net profit in the fourth quarter climbed 58.1% to Rs 3.24 crore.

Sanofi India Limited rose 0.6% to Rs 2,325 after net profit in the fourth quarter jumped 24.1% to Rs 44.80 crore.

Tata Steel Limited dropped 3% to Rs 349.85 on the media speculation that the company may sell part of its UK based steel maker Corus.

Vesuvius India Limited gain 0.9% to Rs. 329.50 after net profit in the fourth quarter climbed 32.6% to Rs 17.66 crore.
