India Movers: ACC, Sun Pharma Net Decline, MRF, M&M Net Jump

ACC third quarter net declined 18.6% and Balaji Telefilms net soared more than three-fold. Cadila Health net plunged 31% and M&M net jumped 30%. MRF net surged 60% and McNally won order of Rs 171.84 crore. Sun Pharm net tumbled 80%.

The Sensex Index slipped 57.92 to close at 19,522.40 The CNX Nifty declined 35.30 to close at 5,903.50. For the week, the BSE Sensex dropped 1.5%.

ACC Limited dropped 2.2% to Rs 1,316.30 after consolidated profit after tax in the third quarter declined 18.6% to Rs 1,059.28 crore.

Balaji Telefilms Limited slipped 1.6% to Rs 50 after net profit in the third quarter soared more than three-fold to Rs 4.94 crore.

Cadila Healthcare Limited declined 3.6% to Rs 786.30 after consolidated net profit in the third quarter plunged 31% at Rs 102.91 crore.

City Union Bank Limited fell 0.08% to Rs 61.10 after net profit in the third quarter climbed 18% to Rs 85.22 crore.

Gokaldas Exports Limited slipped 1.8% to Rs 64 after the apparel exporter reported net loss in the third quarter widened to Rs 43.07 crore from Rs 37.78 crore a year earlier.

Gulf Oil Corporation Limited rose 0.6% to Rs 77.65 after net profit in the third quarter jumped 14.8% to Rs 15.03 crore.

Hindalco Industries Limited dropped 2.7% to Rs 110.25 after net profit in the third quarter slumped 3.8% to Rs 434 crore.

Indiabulls Financial Services Limited declined 4.3% to Rs 285.05 after nearly 1.45 crore shares changed hands in a series of block deals for Rs 448 crore.

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited slipped 1.3% to Rs 884 after combined subsidiary net profit in the third quarter jumped 29.6% to Rs 915 crore.

MRF Limited gained 2% to Rs 13,425 after net profit in the first quarter surged 59.6% to Rs 180.22 crore.

McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited rose 0.5% to Rs 85.55 after company wins order of Rs 171.84 crore for civil and structural works for a refinery project.

PC Jeweller Limited decreased 1.8% to Rs 139.80 after net profit in the third quarter of Rs 66.90 crore.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited slid 0.1% to Rs 747.80 after net profit in the third quarter tumbled 79.7% to Rs 74.22 crore from Rs 365.23 crore.

Saurashtra Cement Limited surged 19.9% to Rs 27.70 after the company reported net profit in the third quarter swung to Rs 18.23 crore from net loss of Rs 15.34 crore a year ago period.

SRS Limited gained 1.6% to Rs 42.20 after the diversified company reported net profit plunged 65.8% to Rs 8.03 crore.

Uttam Galva Steels Limited tumbled 8.9% to Rs 90 after net profit in the third quarter climbed 8.3% to Rs 11.95 crore.
