    Ambuja Cements fourth quarter net surged 77% and Apollo Hospitals net jumped 24.7%. AstraZeneca net swung to loss and Cipla net climbed 25.5%. Godrej Ind net soared 112% and HDFC slashed its prime lending rate. Tech Mahindra net surged 36%.

Gainers & Losers

Ambuja Cements Limited slipped 2.7% to Rs 200.05 after net profit in the fourth quarter surged 77.3% to Rs 303.97 crore.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Ltd. climbed 3% to Rs 846.15 after net profit in the third quarter jumped 24.7% to Rs 80.64 crore.

AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited declined 4.4% to Rs 1,265.05 after third quarter net loss swung to Rs 17.70 crore from net profit of Rs 14.94 crore a year ago.

Cipla Limited slumped 2.4% to Rs 395 after profit after tax in the third quarter climbed 25.5% to Rs 338.78 crore.

Company’s domestic sales jumped 10.2% to Rs 957 crore and exports of formulations surged 38% to Rs 969 crore.

Godrej Industries Limited increased 1.6% to Rs 306.60 after consolidated net profit in the third quarter soared 112% to Rs 179 crore.

Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited gained 1.5% to Rs 819.50 after the housing finance slashed its prime lending rate by 10 basis points from February 6.

Jubilant FoodWorks Limited climbed 3.1% to Rs 1,172.95 after the Domino''s pizza chain operator confirmed Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) purchased 3,36,000 shares worth Rs 37 crore.

LT Foods Limited surged 8.6% to Rs 58.70 after the company reported net profit in the third quarter swung to Rs 8.70 crore from net loss of Rs 7.61 crore a year ago period.

Manappuram Finance, Ltd plunged 10.7% to Rs 38.10 after the Reserve Bank of India proposed to limit import of gold.

The leasing company said net profit in the third quarter tumbled 47.7% to Rs 84.38 crore.

Maharashtra Seamless Limited fell 0.3% to Rs 237.05 after net profit in the third quarter declined 64.9% to Rs 28.40 crore.

Orient Paper & Industries Limited declined 3.4% to Rs 74.95 after net profit in the third quarter declines 65.4% to Rs 14.68 crore.

Tech Mahindra Limited gained 1.2% to Rs 990.65 after profit after tax in the third quarter surged 36% to Rs 242 crore.

VIP Industries Limited dropped 2.2% to Rs 76.65 after net profit in the third quarter declines 66% to Rs 3.50 crore.
