Adani Power third quarter net loss widened and Adani Ports net soared 12.5%. Bank of India third quarter net profit jumped 12%. JSW Steel third quarter declined 19% and Reliance Infrastructure profit surged 78%. Whirlpool India net tumbled 52%.

The Sensex Index lowered 0.18 to close at 20,103.35 The CNX Nifty edged up 0.15 to close at 6,074.80.

Gainers & Losers

Adani Power Limited declined 4.4% to Rs 60.90 after company reported third quarter consolidated net loss widened to Rs 619.01 crore compared to Rs 356.30 crore a year ago.

Adani Ports And Special Economic Zone Limited climbed 4.9% to Rs 136.95 after consolidated net profit in the third quarter soared 12.5% to Rs 361.09 crore.

Alstom India Ltd. slipped 2.6% to Rs 367 after third quarter net loss doubled to Rs 14.59 crore from Rs 7.53 crore a year ago.

Bank of India dropped 2.5% to Rs 355.25 after net profit in the third quarter jumped 12.2% to Rs 803.48 crore.

Bharat Electronics Limited surged 5.3% to Rs 1,307.70 after net profit in the third quarter climbed 13.1% to Rs 197.59 crore.

GHCL Limited fell 0.3% to Rs 36.60 and net profit in the third quarter surged 60.4% to Rs 16.55 crore.

Godrej Consumer Products Limited slid 0.2% to Rs 721.90 after the company divests its non-core food business to Indonesia based private equity firm Creador.

ICRA Limited declined 5.1% to Rs 1,360.65 after the investment information company said third quarter consolidated profit after tax plunged 36% to Rs 11.04 crore.

JSW Steel Limited rose 0.7% to Rs 869.90 and net profit in the third quarter declined 19% to Rs 137 crore.

Lakshmi Machine Works Limited slumped 3.9% to Rs 2,136 after net profit in the third quarter declined 48.6% to Rs 20.36 crore.

Puravankara Projects Limited jumped 2.5% to Rs 107.25 after the third quarter consolidated profit after tax jumped 101% to RS 64 crore.

Reliance Infrastructure Limited slumped 1.9% to Rs 528.20 and consolidated net profit in third quarter surged 78.3% to Rs 727.94 crore.

Suzlon Energy Limited increased 1.9% to Rs 21.50 after the company signed contract to supply turbines to set up 21.75 megawatts project in Tamil Nadu.

Whirlpool of India Limited dropped 7.9% to Rs 7.9% to Rs 248.15 after net profit in the third quarter tumbled 52.4% to Rs 10.07 crore.
