Booz Allen fourth quarter net surged nearly three-fold to $50.6 million. Copart third quarter increased 11% to $55.5 million. Jos. A. Bank Clothiers first quarter net declined 17% and RBC Bearings fourth quarter net soared 57.4%. Fresh Market first quarter net surged 43%.

Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation ((BAH)) surged 13.5% or $2.01 to $16.89 after the consulting service provider reported revenues in the fourth quarter ending in March rose 3.2% to $1.54 billion compared to $1.49 billion in the same period last year. Net income in the quarter surged nearly three-fold to $50.6 million or 36 cents per diluted share compared to $18.1 million or 13 cents per share a year ago.
For the year ended 2012 net sales increased 4.8% to $5.86 billion compared to $5.59 billion from last year. Net income in the year soared nearly three-fold to $240 million or $1.70 per diluted share compared to $84.7 million or 66 cents per share a year ago.
For the full year the company estimated earnings per share in the range of $1.62 to $1.72.
CorVel Corporation ((CRVL)) decreased 2% or 90 cents to $42.38 after the healthcare facility provider reported revenues in the fourth quarter ending in March grew 4% to $104 million compared to $100 million in the same period last year. Net income in the quarter soared 91% to $5.07 million or 44 cents per diluted share compared to $2.65 million or 22 cents per share a year ago earlier.
For the year ended 2012 net sales increased 8% to $413 million compared to $381 million from last year. Net income in the year increased 7.7% to $26.6 million or $2.28 per diluted share compared to $24.7 million or $2.05 per share a year ago period.
Copart, Inc. ((CPRT)) fell 9 cents to $27.20 after the online auctions for junk cars operator reported revenues in the third quarter ending in April rose 3.1% to $244.1 million compared to $236.8 million in the same period last year. Net income in the quarter increased 11% to $55.5 million or 43 cents per diluted share compared to $50.1 million or 35 cents per share a year ago period.
Daktronics, Inc. ((DAKT)) slumped 5.5% or 41 cents to $6.88 after the electronic display system supplier reported sales in the fourth quarter ending on April 28 fell 2.1% to $112.0 million compared to $114.4 million in the same period last year. Net loss in the quarter swung to $0.5 million or 1 cent per diluted share compared to net income of $3.0 million or 7 cents per share a year ago earlier.
For the year ended 2012 net sales grew 10.8% to $489.5 million compared to $441.7 million from last year. Net income in the year declined 40% to $8.5 million or 20 cents per diluted share compared to $14.2 million or 34 cents per share a year ago.
Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. ((JOSB)) shrank 6.8% or $3.29 to $44.50 after the apparel retailer reported sales in first quarter ending on April 29 grew 4.2% to $201.4 million compared to $193.3 million in the same period last year. Comparable store sales and direct marketing sales fell 1% to each.
Net income in the quarter declined 17% to $14.8 million or 53 cents per diluted share compared to $17.8 million or 64 cents per share a year ago quarter.
RBC Bearings Inc ((ROLL)) gained 2.4% or $1.11 to $47.09 after the fabricated products maker reported sales in fourth quarter ending in March increased 25.2% to $111.3 million compared to $88.9 million in the same period last year. Net income in the quarter soared 57.4% to $15.5 million or 69 cents per diluted share compared to $9.9 million or 44 cents per share a year ago earlier.
For the year ended 2012 net sales increased 18.4% to $397.5 million compared to $335.6 million from last year. Net income in the year soared 43.4% to $50.0 million or $2.23 per diluted share compared to $34.9 million or $1.58 per share a year ago period.
Teavana Holdings, Inc. ((TEA)) plunged 16.8% or $2.84 to $13.97 after the specialty tea retailer reported sales in first quarter ending on April 29 soared 27% to $44.3 million compared to $34.9 million in the same period last year. Comparable sales increased by 1.7%.
Net income in the quarter rose 5.4% to $3.50 million or 9 cents per diluted share compared to $3.32 million or 9 cents per share a year ago period.
The tea retailer added that outlook for the fiscal 2012 remains unchanged and the acquisition of Teaopia is expected to complete in second quarter of this year.
The Fresh Market, Inc. ((TFM)) surged 11.6% or $5.70 to $54.56 after the grocery retailer reported sales in first quarter ending on April 29 soared 22.8% to $324.8 million compared to $264.5 million in the same period last year. Comparable store sales increased 8.2%.
Net income in the quarter surged 43% to $19.3 million or 40 cents per diluted share compared to $13.5 million or 28 cents per share a year ago.
The retailer expects fiscal 2012 comparable store sales to increase between 4.5% and 6.5% and earnings per share in the range between $1.28 and $1.34.
