Hungarian Production Rebounds, Sveriges Riksbank Surplus Jumps

Hungarian output rebounded, Danish surplus declined and Norwegian manufacturing production fell in March. Swedish central government payments surplus in April jumped more than twofold.

Hungarian Production Rebounds
Hungary''s industrial production advanced a working-day adjusted 0.6% from a year ago in March, from the revised 3.5% drop in February, preliminary data released by the Central Statistics Office showed.
Danish Output Falls
Denmark''s industrial production fell 2% in March from February, data from Statistics Denmark showed. On a yearly basis, production declined 2.4% in March.
Industrial turnover registered a monthly growth of 0.5% in March. Turnover in domestic market grew 6.1% offset by a 2.5% drop in exports.
Separately, Denmark''s seasonally adjusted trade surplus, excluding ships and aircraft, dropped to €6 billion in March from €7.5 billion in February, data released by Statistics Denmark showed.
Exports decreased a seasonally adjusted 3.8% from a month ago to €50.3 billion in March. Imports fell 1.1% from the previous month to €44.3 billion in March.
Norwegian Manufacturing Output Declines
Manufacturing production in Norway declined 0.8% from a year ago in March after adjusting to working-day variations, Statistics Norway said.
Manufacturing of paper and paper products and basic chemicals fell during the month, while industries like machinery and equipment and ships, boats and oil platforms recorded growth.
Swedish Budget Surplus Soars
Sweden''s central government payments resulted in a surplus of SEK 24.3 billion in April compared to the surplus of SEK 9.5 billion in March, the Swedish National Debt Office said today.
For the twelve-month period ended April 2012, central government payments resulted in a deficit of SEK 13.3 billion.
