    Avon revenue increased 1% and net income declined 15% to $229.5 million. Entergy revenue rose to $2.53 billion and net fell to $228.3 million. Sara Lee revenue decreased 4% and net income rose to $880 million. Teva Pharmaceutical net sales rose 16% to $4.4 billion.

Of the stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, McDonald’s Corporation led the gainers with a rise of 2.37% followed by increase in The Home Depot, Inc. of 1.07%, in General Electric Company of 0.96%, in The Boeing Company of 0.54%, in E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company of 0.51%.

Exxon Mobil Corporation led the decliners with a fall of 1.32%, followed by decline in Intel Corporation of 0.83%, in Bank of America Corporation of 0.75%, in Hewlett-Packard Company of 0.56%, in Caterpillar Inc. of 0.50%.

AGCO Corporation ((AGCO)) fell 0.9% or 52 cents to $52.94 after the agricultural equipment maker reported fourth quarter sales increased 18.7% to $2.2 billion from $1.8 billion last year. Net income in the quarter surged to $85.2 million or 87 cents per diluted share compared to $33.5 million or 35 cents per share in the prior year.

Sales for the full year 2010 increased 5.8% to $6.9 billion from $6.5 billion a year ago. For the full year, the company''s net income rose to $220.2 million or $2.29 per diluted share from $135.4 million or $1.44 per share in the prior year.

Avon Products, Inc. ((AVP)) plunged 5.8% or $1.73 to $27.62 after the personal care products maker said fourth quarter revenue increased 1% to $3.17 billion from $3.13 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter declined 15% to $229.5 million or 53 cents per diluted share compared to $269.4 million or 62 cents per share a year ago.

Revenue for the full year 2010 increased 6% to $10.86 billion from $10.20 billion a year ago. For the full year, the company''s net income fell 3% to $606.3 million or $1.39 per diluted share from $625.8 million or $1.45 per share in the prior year.

Becton, Dickinson and Company ((BDX)) slumped 3.7% or $3.22 to $82.42 after the medical technology company reported first quarter revenue decreased 1.4% to $1.84 billion from $1.87 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter fell 0.1% to $315.94 million or $1.36 per diluted share compared to $316.38 million or $1.30 per share a year ago.

Entergy Corporation ((ETR)) fell 0.4% or 34 cents to $72.72 after the energy company reported fourth quarter total revenue increased to $2.53 billion from $2.50 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter declined to $228.3 million or $1.26 per diluted share compared to $313.8 million or $1.64 per share a year ago.

Total revenue for the full year 2010 increased to $11.49 billion from $10.74 billion a year ago. For the full year, the company''s net income rose to $1.25 billion or $6.66 per diluted share from $1.23 billion or $6.30 per share in the prior year.

Exide Technologies ((XIDE)) surged 15.8% or $1.65 to $12.10 after the electrical energy solution provider said third quarter net sales increased 4.5% to $800.3 million from $746.5 million a prior year. Net income in the quarter soared to $31.2 million or 38 cents per diluted share compared to $9.8 million or 12 cents per share a year ago.

FMC Corporation ((FMC)) rose 0.5% or 44 cents to $81.52 after the chemical company reported fourth quarter total revenue increased 12% to $810.5 million from $722.1 million a prior year. Net loss in the quarter was $53.5 million or 74 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $62.1 million or 85 cents per share a year ago.

NYSE Euronext ((NYX)) decreased 1.2% or 41 cents to $33.35 after the financial markets and trading technology provider said fourth quarter total revenue decreased to $1.05 billion from $1.13 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter declined to $135 million or 51 cents per diluted share compared to $172 million or 66 cents per share a year ago.

Sara Lee Corporation ((SLE)) fell 0.4% or 7 cents to $16.85 after the household product maker reported second quarter total revenue decreased 4% to $2,349 million from $2,359 million a prior year. Net income in the quarter rose to $880 million or $1.37 per diluted share compared to $371 million or $0.53 per share a year ago.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited ((TEVA)) tumbled 5.3% or $2.92 to $52.06 after the Israel based pharmaceutical company said fourth quarter net sales rose 16% to $4.4 billion from $3.8 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter increased to $771 million or 85 cents per diluted share compared to $379 million or 42 cents per share a year ago.
