AT&T Inc. led the decliners with a fall of 2.96%, followed by decline in The Procter & Gamble Company of 2.81%, in Kraft Foods Inc. of 1.54%, in Alcoa Inc. of 1.20%, in Microsoft Corporation of 0.59%.

Net income in the quarter dropped 60% to $1.09 billion or 18 cents a diluted share compared to net income of $2.73 billion or 46 cents per share a year earlier.
AMETEK, Inc. ((AME)) decreased 1.7% or 70 cents to $40.07 after the electronic instrument and device maker reported fourth quarter net sales increased 30% to $678.0 million from $523.5 million a prior year. Net income in the quarter increased 57% to $81.2 million or 50 cents per diluted share compared to $51.9 million or 32 cents per share a year ago.
Avnet, Inc. ((AVT)) declined 1.9% or 68 cents to $35.05 after the electronic component distributor said second quarter sales increased 40% to $6.77 billion from $4.8 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter increased 35.8% to $141.0 million or 91 cents per diluted share compared to $103.9 million or 68 cents per share a year ago.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company ((BMY)) increased 2.5% or 66 cents to $26.59 after the pharmaceutical company reported fourth quarter net sales increased 2% to $5.11 billion from $5.03 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter $483 million or $0.28 per diluted share compared to $8,025 million or $4.06 per share a year ago.
Ball Corporation ((BLL)) gained 1.7% or $1.28 to $72.92 after the metal and plastic packaging supplier said fourth quarter net sales increased to $1.99 billion from $1.73 billion a prior year. Caterpillar Inc. ((CAT)) increased 1.2% or $1.19 to $96.91 after the construction and mining equipment maker reported fourth quarter revenues decreased 4% to $633 million from $657 million a prior year. Net income in the quarter $968 million or $1.47 per diluted share compared to $232 million or $0.32 per share a year ago.
Consol Energy Inc. ((CNX)) plunged 5.0% or $2.62 to $48.89 after the energy services provider said fourth quarter total revenue was $1.36 billion from $1.24 billion a prior year. Net income in the quarter $104.5 million or 46 cents per diluted share compared to $143.2 million or 78 per share a year ago.
Citrix Systems, Inc. ((CTXS)) gained 2.6% or $1.69 to $65.20 the virtualization and infrastructure software developer reported fourth quarter revenue rose 17% to $530 million from $451 million last year. Net income in the quarter increased 7.2% to $94.4 million or 49 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $88.1 million or 47 cents per share a year earlier.
Revenue for the full year 2010 grew to $1.87 billion from $1.61 billion a year ago. For the full year, the company''s net income rose to $277 million or $1.46 per share from $191 million or $1.03 per share in the prior year.
Colgate-Palmolive Company ((CL)) declined 2.5% or $2.00 to $78.00 after the consumer goods company said fourth quarter net sales declined 2.5% to $3.98 billion from $4.08 billion last year. Net income in the quarter slipped 1.1% to $624 million or $1.24 per share compared to $631 million or $1.21 per share a year ago.
Danaher Corporation ((DHR)) slipped 1.4% or 68 cents to $46.62 after the medical, industrial, commercial and consumer products maker reported fourth quarter sales rose 15% to $3.6 billion from $3.1 billion last year. Net income in the quarter increased 72.5% to $473.9 million or 69 cents per diluted share compared to $266.9 million or 40 cents per share a year earlier.
Revenue for the full year 2010 grew 18% to $13.2 billion from $11.2 billion a year ago. For the full year, the company''s net income rose to $1.8 billion or $2.64 per share from $1.1 billion or $1.73 per share in the prior year.
Eaton Corporation ((ETN)) increased 1.4% or $1.50 to $106.11 after the diversified power management company reported fourth quarter revenue rose 17% to $3.7 billion from $3.1 billion in the same quarter last year. Murphy Oil Corporation ((MUR)) slumped 9.9% or $7.26 to $65.97 after the oil and natural gas company said fourth quarter revenue rose 11.7% to $6.51 billion from $5.83 billion in the same quarter last year. Net income in the quarter slumped 45% to $174.1 million or 90 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $318.9 million or $1.65 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Netflix, Inc. ((NFLX)) surged 14.5% or $26.57 to $209.57 after the movie rental company reported fourth quarter revenues increased 34.1% to $595.92 million from $444.54 million last year. Net income in the quarter increased 52.3% to $47.09 million or 87 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $30.91 million or 56 cents per share in the previous year.
Revenue for the full year 2010 increased to $2.16 billion from $1.67 billion a year ago. For fiscal year 2010, net income increased to $160.85 million or $2.96 per share from $115.86 million or $1.98 per share in the previous year.
NVR, Inc. ((NVR)) fell 1% or $8.02 to $776.20 after the residential construction company said fourth quarter revenues increased 9% to $811.0 million from $745.8 million last year. Net income in the quarter decreased 3% to $58.7 million or $9.96 per diluted share compared to net income of $60.6 million or $9.61 per share in the previous year.
Qualcomm, Inc. ((QCOM)) soared 5.7% or $2.99 to $54.84 after the chip maker reported first quarter total revenues increased 25% to $3.35 billion from $2.67 billion last year. Raytheon Company ((RTN)) fell 0.06% or 3 cents to $51.57 after the cyber and homeland security provider said fourth quarter net sales increased 1% to $6.9 billion from $6.7 billion in the same quarter last year. Net income in the quarter decreased to $459 million or $1.25 per diluted compared to $504 million or $1.30 per share in the prior-year quarter.
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. ((SWK)) soared 6.8% or $4.60 to $71.55 after the mechanical and electronic security provider reported fourth quarter net sales increased 149% to $2.4 billion from $0.97 billion in the same quarter last year. Net earnings in the quarter surged to $137.8 million or 81 cents per diluted compared to $74.3 million or 91 cents per share in the prior-year quarter.
Starbucks Corporation ((SBUX)) rose 0.5% or 20 cents to $33.27 after the coffee house operator said first quarter total net revenues increased 8% to $3.0 billion from $2.7 billion in the same quarter last year. Net earnings in the quarter surged 43.5% to $346.6 million or 45 cents per diluted compared to net earnings of $241.5 million or 32 cents per share in the prior-year quarter.
The Procter & Gamble Company ((PG)) slumped 3.2% or $2.15 to $63.96 after consumer packaged goods maker reported second quarter net sales grew 1.5% to $21.35 billion from $21.03 billion in the prior-year quarter. Net income in the quarter declined 28.5% to $3.33 billion or $1.11 a share compared to net income of $4.66 billion or $1.49 a share last year.
Time Warner Cable Inc. ((TWC)) gained 2.1% or $1.45 to $69.53 after the cable operator reported fourth quarter revenues increased 6% to $4.8 billion from $4.5 billion last year. Net income in the quarter increased to $392 million or $1.09 per diluted share compared to $322 billion or $0.91 per share in the previous year.
Tyco International Ltd. ((TYC)) rose 0.8% or 37 cents to $45.01 after the security products provider said first quarter revenues increased 5% to $4.38 billion from $4.15 billion last year. Zimmer Holdings, Inc.
