    Stock in Mumbai fell. Bharti Airtel Ltd. plunged 1.7% after net profit fell 27%. Empee Sugars and Chemicals gained 2.4% after net profit surged fourfold. Greenply Industries slumped 1.9% after net profit declined 86%. Tata Motors Limited gained 2.4% after net profit surged tenfold.

The BSE Sensex fell 0.27% or 56.77 to close at 20,875.71. The CNX Nifty on the National Stock Exchange declined 25.85 to close at 6,275.70.

Astra Microwave Products Limited surged 4.3% to Rs 73.75 after the radio frequency and microwave system maker board approved issuing one bonus share for every two shares.

Atul Auto Limited soared 7% to Rs 151.00 after the auto rickshaw maker said second quarter net profit soared 78.05% to Rs 2.92 crore.

Asian Electronics Limited slipped 2.6% to Rs 26.25 after the energy efficient product maker reported second quarter net loss of Rs 16.40 crore compared to net profit of Rs 0.52 crore from a year ago.

Bharti Airtel Limited plunged 1.7% to Rs 328.15 after the largest mobile service provider reported second quarter consolidated net profit fell 26.59% to Rs 1,661.20 crore.

Brigade Enterprises Limited increased 2.8% to Rs 142.50 after the real estate company said second quarter net profit surged 346.4% to Rs 20 crore.

BPL Limited advanced 3.6% to Rs 42.25 after the electronic products maker board approved spinning off its alkaline battery business to a proposed joint venture company.

CEAT Limited gained 2.4% to Rs 159.35 after the tire maker may raise prices again next month due to an increase in natural rubber rates in the recent weeks.

Divi''s Laboratories Limited decreased 2.4% to Rs 723.15 after the active pharmaceutical ingredient maker said second quarter consolidated net profit declined 15.17% to Rs 71.93 crore.

Empee Distilleries Limited declined 3.8% to Rs 140.60 after the liquor, power and sugar maker said second quarter net profit fell 25.22% to Rs 4.30 crore.

Empee Sugars and Chemicals Limited gained 2.4% to Rs 79.75 after the sugar and industrial alcohol maker reported second quarter net profit fourfold to Rs 11.86 crore.

Greenply Industries Limited slumped 1.9% to Rs 189.45 after the interior infrastructure company reported second quarter net profit declined 86.18% to Rs 1.58 crore.

Geodesic Limited soared 8.5% to Rs 136.10 after the software and consultancy service provider reported second quarter consolidated net profit rose 7.73% to Rs 85.25 crore.

Hindalco Industries Limited slipped 1.6% to Rs 228.00 on profit booking after the stock gained 10% in the preceding seven sessions.

Lakshmi Overseas Industries Limited surged 7.1% to Rs 90.30 after the rice producer said its board will meet on November 12 to consider buy-back of shares.

Nestle India Limited declined 4.1% to Rs 3,848.60 after a foreign broker downgraded the stock but raised the target price to Rs 3,525 from Rs 3,230 earlier.
