Stock in Mumbai rose. Bharat Heavy Electricals fell 0.6% and net profit rose 33.15%. ICICI Bank soared 6.5% after net profit rose 21.87%. ONGC fell 0.3% and net profit rose 5.88%. Tata Chemicals plunged 8.5% after net profit tumbled 42.96%.

The BSE Sensex rose 0.46% or 91.30 to close at 20,032.34. The CNX Nifty on the national Stock Exchange gained 30.00 to close at 6,017.70.

ABB Ltd plunged 3.8% to Rs 21.01 after the power and automation industry said third quarter net profit slumped 86.16% to Rs 11.50 crore.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited fell 0.6% to Rs 2,435.00 after the engineering company reported second quarter net profit rose 33.15% to Rs 1142.28 crore.

Bharat Electronics Limited declined 5.1% to Rs 1,640.00 after the electronic product maker said second quarter net profit slumped 56.15% to Rs 104.07 crore.

Balaji Telefilms Limited fell 3.8% to Rs 48.95 after the media and entertainment provider reported second quarter net loss of Rs 6.40 crore compared to net profit of Rs 1.02 crore from a year ago.

Cairn India Limited rose 0.6% to Rs 320.70 after the energy explorer said second quarter consolidated net profit increased 237.6% to Rs 1,585.08 crore.

Elgi Equipments Limited surged 7.1% to Rs 184.30 after the air compressors maker board recommended issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 on October 28.

EIH Limited slumped 2.9% to Rs 124.40 after the hotel manager reported second quarter higher net loss of Rs 14.97 crore compared to net loss of Rs 9.65 crore from a year ago.

Hindustan Construction Company Limited fell 1.2% to Rs 61.00 after the infrastructure company said second quarter net profit gained 120.15% to Rs 12.13 crore.

ICICI Bank Limited soared 6.5% to Rs 1,161.65 financial service provider reported second quarter consolidated net profit rose 21.87% to Rs 1,394.94 crore.

ITC Limited gained 2.3% to Rs 171.15 after the consumer goods maker said second quarter net profit rose 23.45% to Rs 1,246.74 crore.

JVL Agro Industries Limited increased 1.2% to Rs 365.60 after the refined oil maker fixed November 10 as the record date for a 10-for-1 stock split.

Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd. plunged 1.8% to Rs 183.35 after the automotive wiring maker reported second quarter consolidated net profit increased 475% to Rs 85.98 crore.

MSK Projects (India) Limited tumbled 3.2% to Rs 133.25 after the civil contractor reported second quarter net loss of Rs 19.79 crore compared to net profit of Rs 6.06 crore from a year ago.

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited fell 0.2% to Rs 731.85 after the conglomerate reported 7.9% growth in net profit to Rs 758.49 crore.

Monsanto India Limited declined 6.7% to Rs 2,012.15 after the agricultural product maker reported second quarter higher net loss of Rs 5.79 crore compared to net loss of Rs 4.59 crore from a year ago.

National Fertilizers Limited slumped 4% to Rs 117.40 after the urea maker said second quarter net profit declined 25.33% to Rs 43.10 crore.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited fell 0.3% to Rs 1303.25 after the oil explorer said second quarter net profit rose 5.88% to Rs 5,388.77 crore.

Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited surged 6.3% to Rs 132.25 after the leasing and finance company reported second quarter consolidated net profit rose 194% to Rs 78.15 crore.

Swaraj Mazda Limited increased 2.7% to Rs 362.30 after the light commercial vehicle maker said second quarter net profit gained 102.17% to Rs 9.30 crore.

Steel Strips Wheels Limited tumbled 7% to Rs 414.5 after the automotive wheel rim maker said it will allot 8.5 lakh shares to Sumitomo Metal Industries, part of Japanese trading giant Sumitomo Group, on preferential allotment basis.

Steel Authority of India Limited declined 3.8% to Rs 194.95 after the steel maker reported second quarter net profit tumbled 34.47% to Rs 1,090.01 crore.

Tata Chemicals Limited plunged 8.5% to Rs 390.20 after the chemical, crop and consumer product maker said second quarter consolidated net profit tumbled 42.96% to Rs 127.10 crore.

UCO Bank decreased 3% to Rs 125.85 after the commercial bank reported second quarter net profit fell 42.62% to Rs 119.19 crore.
