The BSE Sensex declined 0.35% or 71.58 to close at 20,231.54. The CNX Nifty on the National Stock Exchange fell 23.80 to close at 6,082.00.

Dena Bank soared 8.9% to Rs 137.70 after the bank said second quarter net profit rose 28.88% to Rs 160.63 crore.
