Rupert Murdoch ended his plans to merge Fox Corp and News Corp without citing reasons.

Verizon said fourth quarter revenue increased 3.5% to $35.25 billion and net income increased 41% to $6.7 billion from $4.7 billion and diluted earnings per share rose to $1.56 from $1.11 a year ago.

Raytheon Tech fourth quarter revenue rose 6% to $18.1 billion and net income doubled to $1.4 billion from $685 million and diluted earnings per share rose to 96 cents from 46 cents a year ago.

Lockheed said revenue in the fourth quarter rose to $19 billion from $17.7 billion but net income fell 5% to $1.9 billion or diluted earnings per share fell to $7.40 from $7.47 a year ago.

Johnson & Johnson said revenue in the December quarter fell 4% to $23.7 billion and net earnings fell 26% to $3.52 billion or $1.33 from $4.74 billion or $1.77 per share in the previous year.

D R Horton said revenue in the December quarter rose 3% to $7.3 billion and net income fell 16% to $959 million and diluted earnings per share fell to $2.76 from $3.17 a year ago.

Microsoft said revenue in the December quarter increased 2% to $52.7 billion and net income declined 12% to $16.4 billion and diluted earnings share fell to $2.20 from $2.48 in previous year.

3M Company said fourth quarter revenues fell 6% to $8.1 billion and net income dropped to $541 million from $1.3 billion and diluted earnings per share dropped to 98 cents from $2.31 a year ago.
