Revenue in the second quarter rose 14% to $96.4 billion from $84.7 billion, net income advanced to $28.2 billion from $23.6 billion, and diluted earnings per share rose to $2.31 from $1.89 a year ago.
Google Services revenues increased 12% to $82.5 billion, reflecting strong performance across Google Search & other Google subscriptions, platforms, and devices, and YouTube ads.
Google Cloud revenues increased 32% to $13.6 billion, which includes revenues from cloud and AI-related services.
The company also lifted its spending outlook for the year, as the company ramped up its investment in cloud and AI infrastructure.
"We are increasing our investment in capital expenditures in 2025 to approximately $85 billion and are excited by the opportunity ahead,” said CEO Sundar Pichai.

Revenue surged to $90.23 billion from $80.54 billion, net income jumped to $34.54 billion from $23.66 billion, and diluted earnings per share rose to $2.81 from $1.89 a year ago.
The company announced a quarterly cash dividend of 21 cents per share, an increase of 5% from the prior dividend of 20 cents per share, payable on June 16 to shareholders on record as of June 9.
During the quarter, Alphabet paid a total of $2.4 billion in dividends, and on April 23, the company issued an authorization to repurchase $70.0 billion of Class A and Class C shares.

Revenue increased 12% to $96.45 billion from $86.31 billion, net income climbed 28% to $26.54 billion from $20.69 billion, and earnings per diluted share rose 31% to $2.15 from $1.64 a year ago.
Dividend payments to stockholders of Class A, Class B, and Class C shares totaled $2.4 billion for the quarter.
The company is planning to spend $75 billion this year as it continues to build out its artificial intelligence offering.
On Tuesday, China said it would probe Google over violations of antimonopoly laws after Washington slapped 10% levies on Chinese goods.
Although Google services are not accessible in China, the company still operates in the country, primarily focused on sales and engineering for its advertising business. It also has employees working on services including Google Cloud and customer solutions.
Virtually all brands, apart from Apple and Huawei, pay licensing fees to Google to use the Android system on their devices.

Consolidated revenue in the third quarter increased 15% to $88.3 billion from $76.7 billion, net income advanced to $26.3 billion from $19.7 billion, and diluted earnings per share rose to $2.12 from $1.55 a year ago.
The company said cloud segment revenue increased 35% to $11.4 billion, led by accelerated growth in its core products and artificial intelligence-driven products and services.
