- Arista Networks Inc. jumped 12.6% to $132.99 after the computer networking company reported a 30% increase in net income in the June quarter.
Revenue increased to $2.2 billion from $1.7 billion, net income jumped to $888.8 billion from $665.4 million, and diluted earnings per share rose to 70 cents from 52 cents a year ago.
For the six-month period, revenue advanced to $4.2 billion from $3.2 billion, net income soared to $1.7 billion from $1.3 billion, and diluted earnings per share edged higher to $1.34 from $1.02 a year ago.
During the second quarter, the company repurchased $983 million of its common stock during the quarter as part of its stock repurchase program.
The company guided net sales in the next quarter to approximately $2.25 billion compared to $2.2 billion a quarter earlier, respectively.
The company expects to deliver a non-GAAP gross margin of approximately 64% and a non-GAAP operating margin of approximately 47% for the third quarter.

Revenue edged up to $2.00 billion from $1.57 billion, net income jumped to $813.8 million from $637.7 million, and diluted earnings per share rose to 64 cents from 50 cents a year ago.
The company authorized an additional program to repurchase up to $1.5 billion.
Arista estimated second-quarter revenue to be approximately $2.1 billion, compared to $1.69 billion in the prior year; non-GAAP gross margin to be 63%, compared to 65.4%; and non-GAAP operating margin to be 46%, compared to 46.5% a year earlier.
May 7, 2025 - Arista Networks Inc. dropped 4.6% to $106 despite the computer networking company reporting revenue growth in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Revenue increased to $1.93 billion from $1.54 billion, net income jumped to $800.99 million from $613.64 million, and earnings per diluted share rose to 62 cents from 48 cents a year ago.
For the first quarter of 2025, the company estimated revenue between $1.93 billion and $1.97 billion, compared to $1.57 billion a year ago.

The networking equipment maker forecasted fourth-quarter revenue between $1.50 billion and $1.55 billion, a non-GAAP gross margin of 63%, and a non-GAAP operating margin of 42%.
