- Domino's Pizza gained 0.3% to $456.92 after the pizza delivery company reported strong results for the fourth quarter ending in December.
Revenue increased to $1.44 billion from $1.40 billion, net income surged to $169.44 million from $157.29 million, and earnings per diluted share rose to $4.89 from $4.48 a year ago.
The company raised its quarterly dividend by 15% to $1.74 per share, payable on March 28 to shareholders on record as of March 14.
In addition, Domino’s Pizza repurchased 258,568 shares and 758,242 shares of common stock for a total of $112.0 million and $327.0 million, in the fourth quarter and full-year, respectively.
By the end of 2024, the company had a total remaining authorized amount for share repurchases of $814.3 million.
Feb 25, 2025 - Domino's Pizza Inc declined 3.4% to $346.50 after the food company reported weaker-than-expected earnings and sales at U.S. comparable locations declined 0.6%.
Total revenue in the quarter ending on August 10 eased to $1.02 billion from $1.06 billion and net income soared to $147.7 million from $100.5 million and diluted earnings per share surged to $4.18 from $2.79 a year ago.
Excluding the impact of the closure of the Russia market, the global net store count in the third quarter was 135 stores, comprising 27 net U.S. and 108 net international store openings.
The pizza delivery company forecasted its 2023 global net store growth "to trend at or slightly below the low-end" of its 5% to 7% two- to three-year outlook.
Additionally, the company estimated its 2023 global retail sales growth, excluding foreign currency impact, "to trend modestly below the midpoint" of its 4% to 8% two -to three-year outlook.
Oct 12, 2023 - Domino's Pizza said fourth quarter revenue increased 3.6% to $1.39 billion and same store sales at the U.S. company owned and franchised stores increased 0.9% and international stores rose 2.6%.
Net income in the fourth quarter increased to $158.3 million from $155.7 million and diluted earnings per share rose to $4.43 from $4.25 a year ago.
