- Deere & Co. decreased 5.8% to $390.0 after the farm equipment maker lowered its annual earnings outlook.
The agriculture equipment maker reported better-than-expected quarterly results and lowered its annual earnings outlook to $7 billion from the previous estimate between $7.50 and $7.75 billion.
Revenue in the quarter decreased 12% to $15.3 million from $17.4 million, net income declined to $2.37 billion from $2.86 billion, and diluted earnings per share fell to 8.53 from $9.65 a year ago.

Sep 5, 2023 - Deere & Company increased 3.3% to $382.83 after the agriculture equipment maker reported better-than-expected quarterly results.
Revenue in the fiscal second quarter ending in April increased 30% to $17.4 billion from $13.4 billion and net income advanced to $2.1 billion from $2.1 billion and diluted earnings per share rose to $9.65 from $6.81 a year ago.
The company revised higher full-year net income between $9.25 billion and $9.50 billion with cash flow from equipment operations expected to be between $10.0 billion and $10.50 billion.
May 19, 2023 - Deere & Company said revenue in the fiscal first quarter ending in January increased 32% to $12.6 billion and net income jumped 117% to $1.95 billion from $903 million and diluted earnings per share rose to $6.55 from $2.92 a year ago.
